This box is also a smile-getter....a box of Auditorium A23 interconnects. The numbers coincide with the lengths, 050 is a .5M, etc. The smallest size is perfect for stepup transformers, from table to stepup. I can't get enough of stepups these days. It's one of the most overlooked areas of phono reproduction. And something you'll be hearing more about in the future in these posts. I have quite a few here, more than any company around!, I might add. That's just one of the reasons the Haven is quickly becoming the analogue mecca in the midwest. Stay tuned......and order your A23's today...always in demand.

Playing records without a good step-up transformer is like.. actually, I don't know what that's like, thankfully. All hail the Haven.

I can see by your handle, Mr or Ms AB, that you are quite a devotee of the vinyl medium. You might already be aware of the great early article by Art Dudley in Listener and later referred to in a Stereophile column on the importance of supporting a good moving coil cartridge with the correct current load. It was Art Dudley, Martin Collums, Jules Coleman, and others who were advocates of a quality moving magnet phono section enhanced with a stepup device. I'll be mentioning that from time to time as I describe the stepups the Haven has selected for the ultimate analog buyer. Stay tuned... and thanks for chiming in.
