On loan, for a limited time, is THE Brinkmann integrated! I still can't believe it's here.
Years ago, when I first spied the Brinkmann turntable in a magazine, probably the Balance, that Teutonic beauty, I knew that eventually I would have to have one. And then as a dealer, when I found out Richard Vandersteen used the very same, I knew that I couldn't go wrong by getting one. My instincts have not served me wrong. Even though I've only as far have the Bardo table here (yes yes, only the starting model, but oh my! what a start) my eyes continually landed on the integrated. You know how it is. You see something that catches your eye, you keep going back and looking at it, and looking at it. And you check the price, and keep checking- and then the photo again.
So when I was offered a chance to use it here for a while, to listen, to stare at it in the flesh, I jumped at the chance. And I'm here to tell you, it hasn't disappointed in the least, more like I can't sit still it's soooo good, I can't quit talking about it, I can't quit hooking up every speaker I have here, every turntable to it, every recent favorite record to play thru it. In short, I really like the thing.
So it behooves me, yes, I loved to be behooved, to tell you to drop all your chores, put the fork down, take a bath, and get over here to listen to it while it's on loan. I will eventually have to buy one for a shop demo, yet there are a few new goodies coming in soon, that need paid for first, so there you have it. So many jewels already here, yet as the buyer for Cartiers says, there's always room for one more. Come come come!
